Samsung has opened preorder reservations for the Galaxy S21, which will allow prospective customers to indicate interest in purchasing the device. Those who sign up will also be able to take advantage of several deals being offered when purchasing the upcoming Galaxy S21.
Primarily, Samsung is offering customers who reserve the new handset beforehand $50 to spend towards accessories, and an additional $10 in credit to those who preorder through the Shop Samsung app.
Those reserving need only give their name, email address, zip code, and optionally their phone number and carrier to save their place in line for the Galaxy S21. As Samsung will be offering trade-in deals for the device, prospective customers can also look up the value of their current smartphone to see how much of a discount they may be able to recieve on the new model. Those who trade in an old device will recieve an extra 5 percent discount on their purchase.
The reservation terms and conditions indicates that customers can sign up until January 29, which is just a day before the Galaxy S21 is expected to release to market. Reports inidcate Samsung may unviel the smartphone on January 14, which many have noted is the final day of CES 2021.
