The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL have been announced and are now officially on sale with availability not only at Verizon, but also T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular. The devices are also compatible with the Google Fi network and AT&T. The Pixel 3a starts at $399 and the Pixel 3a XL starts $479, but the different sellers have their own pricing schemes and deals to coincide with the device launch. Google Pixel 3a U.S. availability
Google
Consumers have the option of selecting an unlocked model, a Verizon model, or a Google Fi model for the Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL when purchasing directly through Google. The devices are available at full retail price or at 0 percent APR with Google Store Financing. The Pixel 3a sells for $16.62 per month for 24 months and the Pixel 3a XL for $19.96 per month for 24 month. Customers can also add Google’s Preferred Care protection plan to their device for $89, and can earn up to $400 when trading in an old device.
T-Mobile
The Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL are now available at T-Mobile at their full retail prices or for $16.67 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a or $20 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a XL. For a limited time, T-Mobile is offering a free Pixel 3a model when trading in an older device. The deal will be delivered through 24 monthly bill credits, meaning customers will have to pay for the device via T-Mobile equipment payment plan, and then the credited back the value of the device. This is essentially the same as Google’s trade in deal.
Verizon
The Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL are now available at Verizon at their full retail prices or for $16.66 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a or $19.99 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a XL. Verizon is also offering $50 off the price of the devices for subscribers who are upgrading from an old plan or $100 for new subscribers to the network. New subscribers will pay $12.50 per month for the Pixel 3a and $15.83 per month for the Pixel 3a XL.
Sprint
The Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL are now available at Sprint at their full retail prices or for $16.63 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a or $19.96 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a XL. Sprint is offering $100 for new subscribers to the network. New subscribers will pay $11.07 per month for the Pixel 3a and $14.40 per month for the Pixel 3a XL with Sprint’s Flex 18 payment plan, which allows users to upgrade to a new device every 18 months.
U.S. Cellular
The Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL are available at U.S. Cellular stores, however, online sale have not yet begun. The carrier is currently offering a network wide deal of 50 percent devices for new subscribers or customers that are eligible for an upgrade. The Pixel 3a will sell for $13.30 per month on U.S. Cellular’s 30-month installment plan, while the Pixel 3a XL will sell for $15.96. We will update once official prices are available on the site.
Other
While AT&T is not a carrier partner for the Pixel 3a devices, they will run on the network. This means subscribers can purchase the unlocked models directly from Google and take them to AT&T for activation and use.
The new Pixel 3a device are also available at Best Buy at their full retail prices or for $16.63 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a or $19.96 per month for 24 months for the Pixel 3a XL. Owners can also get a $100 gift card from Best Buy when they purchase an unlocked model and activate it on one of the retailer’s affiliate networks, which includes Sprint.
Google Pixel 3a international availability
Google also announced at its I/O 2019 keynote Tuesday that the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be available in international markets including, Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, India, Japan, Taiwan, France, Ireland, Singapore, and the U.K.

Specs for the Pixel 3a include a 5.6-inch gOLED display with 2,220 x 1,080 resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Google has used the Dragontrail glass to protect its display. The device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chip, 4GB of RAM and 64GB with no MicroSD expansion. Its battery system includes a 3,000mAh cell with a 18W fast charging but no wireless charging. The Pixel 3a dimensions are 151.3 x 70.1 x 8.2mm and its weight 147g.
The Pixel 3a camera setup includes a 12.2-megapixel Dual-Pixel lens with f/1.8 aperture, 1.4µm pixels, and a 76-degree field-of-view. Standard camera features include dual-pixel phase detection autofocus, optical image stabilization, and electronic image stabilization. The device’s front camera is an 8-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus, and an 84-degree field-of-view.
Google Pixel 3a XL specs
Specs for the Pixel 3a XL include a 6-inch gOLED with 2,160 x 1,080 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device also uses Dragontrail to protect its display. Internal hardware is the same with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chip, 4GB of RAM and 64GB with no MicroSD expansion. Its battery system includes a 3,700mAh with a 18W fast charging but no wireless charging. The Pixel 3a XL dimensions are 160.1 x 76.1 x 8.2mm and its weight 167g.
Neither of the Pixel 3a devices are water resistant, but they both include 3.5mm headphone jacks, rear fingerprint sensors, the Titan M Security Module, and the Android 9 Pie operating system. Their sensors include Active Edge, Proximity, Ambient light, Accelerometer, Gyrometer, Magnetometer, Barometer, and Android Sensor Hub. Both models are available in Just Black, Clearly White, Purple-ish color options.
