OnePlus announced Tuesday a newer and pricer model of the OnePlus 6T, which will be available starting December 13 for a whopping $699. The new version releases as a collaboration with the sports car manufacturer, McLaren to showcase the additional speed on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. This model gets a power boost with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, up from the 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the standard models. It also comes with a 30-watt charging adapter, which OnePlus claims will provide a full day’s power in a 20-minute charge. The device has some design tweaks inspired by the McLaren MCL33 racecar, including a gradient yellow frame and a yellow charging cord. Otherwise, specs on this one OnePlus 6T model are the same. The model will release first to Western European and North American markets and later to Indian, Chinese, and Nordic markets.

The OnePlus 6T is primarily available in Mirror Black (glossy) and Midnight Black (matte) color options, but OnePlus also released the Thunder Purple option as a colorful alternative to its simple color schemes. This model of the OnePlus 6T features a gradient purple design and sells in an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage configuration. The device is primarily available in various Asian markets, including China for 3,599 yuan ($520) and India for 41,999 rupees ($585). The Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T U.S. model is currently available on Amazon for $799.

OnePlus already has several international carrier affiliations but was able to collaborate with T-Mobile to make the OnePlus 6T its first carrier device in the U.S. Recent reports indicate that OnePlus saw a 249 percent boost in its first month of sales since beginning to offer the OnePlus 6T through T-Mobile. While the OnePlus devices have always been available unlocked in the U.S., most American consumers still associate new phones with having to sign up for or renew a carrier contract. The OnePlus 6T carrier model comes in an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage configuration and sells for $580 or $24.17 per month for 24 months. It features only one SIM card slot and is carrier locked to T-Mobile, meaning users cannot take the model to a new mobile network if they decide to switch.

For those who don’t want all of the muss and fuss of special colors, features, or carrier contracts, the OnePlus 6T unlocked models are still easy to purchase directly from the manufacturer. The device comes in 6GB or 8GB RAM models, both featuring 128GB internal storage. In addition to being compatible with standard GSM carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and their affiliates. The OnePlus 6T is now also compatible with Verizon bands, giving consumers additional network options; however, the device is not available for purchase through Verizon.
