Smartphones with pop-up cameras haven’t exactly become a widespread trend, but some manufacturers are still experimenting with the design. While most device makers are using top-notches and lens cutouts to house front-facing cameras, others have tested the pop-up camera function to maximize screen real estate while keeping a front-facing camera on handsets
Devices including the Oppo Find X and the Vivo Apex introduced the feature in 2018. We’ve also seen variants, such as the Vivo Nex and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, which have a slide up function to reveal the selfie camera. Still, upcoming devices and concepts suggest that pop-up cameras may win in the battle for unusual camera setups.

Vivo V15 Pro
The Chinese manufacturer Vivo has teased its smartphone, which will feature a pop-up camera with a 32-megapixel lens to serve as its selfie camera. The Vivo V15 Pro will be announced in India on February 20 and will surely be showcased at MWC 2019 the following week.

It may also feature 6GB and 8GB RAM options, 128GB of internal storage, a 3,700mAh battery with fast charging, USB-C, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. For software, the device will run Android 9 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy A90

Currently, there are no details on the specs for the pop-up camera. There are few other details known about the Galaxy A90. From the renders we can deduce may have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a triple lens set up for its rear camera.
If rumors are accurate, we may hear more about this device after the next two weeks of events. Samsung is set to announce its Galaxy S10 flagship devices on February 20, and will likely also have more details about its major releases during MWC 2019 the following week. If the Galaxy A90 is similar to the Vivo V15 Pro, it may also be a premium mid-range device available in various Asian countries.
