TCL announced a number of products at IFA 2019, including several smartphones under its Alcatel line. The devices focus on international markets with affordable price points. Other products showcased include displays, wearables, and 4G hubs, all with affordability in mind. Check out TCL’s IFA product lineup below.
Alcatel 3X
The Alcatel 3X is bringing several high-end specs, such as large displays and triple camera to an affordable price point. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ Super Full View display with a teardrop notch to host an 8-megapixel front camera. It’s rear camera set up include 16-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 5-megapixel lens.
Powering the device is an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion up to 128GB, a 4000mAh battery, and Android P.
The Alcatel 3X will sell starting at €149 in Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe in Jewelry Black, Jewelry Green, and Jewelry Rose color options.
Alcatel 1V
The Alcatel 1V is an entry-level device running the Go Edition of Android Pie, giving it power-and memory-efficient versions of popular apps, such as Google Assistant, Google Go, and Gboard.
Powering the device is an octa-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion up to 128GB, and a 2,460mAh battery. It also features a 5.5-inch FWVGA display and 5-megapixel front and rear cameras.
The Alcatel 1V will sell starting at €79 in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East in Anthracite Black, Metallic Blue, Metallic Gold, and Metallic Rose color options.
TCL Plex
The TCL Plex is a smartphone that brings the manufacturer’s expertise in televisions to mobile. TCL has branded a display optimization and camera technology called NXTVISION for the device, with a focus on SDR to HDR video capture and playback.
The TCL Plex features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, branded as Dotch, for its 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Its triple camera setup includes 48-megapixel, + 16-megapixel, and 2-megapixel lenses, while its front camera is a 24-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual setup.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and MicroSD expansion up to 256GB, a 3,820mAh battery, and Android Pie.
The TCL PLEX will be available in Europe in the fourth quarter, starting at €329 in Obsidian Black and Opal White color options.
Alcatel Smart Tab 7
The Alcatel Smart Tab 7 is a smart display powered by Google Assistant, featuring a 7-inch display and video calling through Google Duo voice commands.
The device is family-friendly with a Kids Mode featuring educational apps and setting for time limits and activity authorization. Its Eye Care feature reduces blue light for more comfortable viewing. The Alcatel Smart Tab 7 will sell for €79 when it is available later this year.
LINKHUB LTE cat7 Home Station
The LINKHUB LTE cat7 Home Station offers 00 Mbps downlink and 100 Mbps uplink for ease of connectivity expansion in a home or office.
Users can manage their network via browser or on a dedicated app, with access to their connection status, devices connected to their network, SSID and passwords. The LINKHUB LTE cat7 Home Station will start at €129 when available.
TCL MovieTime Family Watch
The TCL MovieTime Family Watch is a 4G wearable marketed for seniors. The watch includes video calling, photo-sharing and voice messaging features, as well as various geolocation features and SOS features in case senior users need emergency assistance.
There are also software features for tracking activity, sleep, and setting reminders for appointments and medications.
