What was once considered flagship-level features have made it to the sub-$200 range in the ZTE Blade 10 and Blade A7 Prime, with the Chinese manufacturer announced on Wednesday. The ZTE Blade 10 and Blade 10 Prime are now selling at the Verizon-powered Visible Wireless MVNO for $179, while the ZTE Blade A7 Prime is available for $99.
Both the ZTE Blade 10 and Blade 10 Prime share a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a teardrop notch, a Mediatek Helio P60 chip, a 3,200mAh battery, and Android 9 Pie. While both models have 3GB of RAM, what differentiates two is their internal storage. The ZTE Blade 10 has 32GB storage while the Blade 10 Prime had 64GB storage. Both models support microSD expansion up to 2TB
The smartphones also feature a dual-camera set up with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel lenses and a 16-megapixel front camera.
Also considered high end after the device’s in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock biometric features.
Audio provides two-mic noise cancelation and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The devices support LTE, GSM, and UMTS bands, with availability for unlocked models at zteusa.com.
The ZTE Blade A7 Prime is a smaller option, featuring a 6.09-inch HD+ display with a teardrop notch, a Mediatek 6761 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 2TB, a 3,200mAh battery, and Android 9 Pie. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
While the ZTE Blade A7 Prime is always priced in an extremely affordable range, Visible Wireless will soon offer an automatic trade-in for any network-incompatible Android device when purchasing at least one month of service.
