Verizon’s latest 5G smartphone, the Galaxy A51 5G UW is now on sale for $549.99, making it carrier’s cheapest 5G smartphone to date. The phone will cost even less for a limited time. When subscribing to a new Unlimited plan, customers can pay $15 per month for 24 months. Outside of the discount, the Galaxy A51 5G UW is $22.92 a month for 24 months under Verizon’s Device Payment plan.
Following the Galaxy A71 5G UW, which released on Verizon in July for $649.99, the Galaxy A51 5G UW has a few tweaks that bring its price down a little.
It features a smaller 6.5-inch FHD+ display and a quad-camera set up with a 48-megapixel main lens, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. Other hardware includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with micro USB expansion up to 1TB, and a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging. It runs Android 10 for software and is available in a Prism Bricks Blue color option.
The device also includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip to enable Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network and its 5G low-band network, which is set to launch later in 2020.
