HMD Global has announced a new lineup of smartphones, including a device, which will be featured in the upcoming Bond film, No Time To Die. The smartphones include the Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 3.4, and Nokia 2.4.
The Nokia 8.3 5G is already on the market internationally, selling for €599, but is currently available for preorder in the U.S. for $699, ahead of its October 26 release. It will also sell at Best Buy in the coming weeks.
The device features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip to enable 5G and includes the ZEISS Cinema capture and editor app as a highlight feature. Its also features a 6.81-inch FHD+ 20:9 edge-to-edge display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion up to 400GB, and a 4500mAh battery with a 9V2A charger, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Nokia 8.3 5G quad-camera set up includes a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 24-megapixel lens. Software-wise, the Nokia 8.3 5G runs Android 10 with guaranteed support of OS upgrades for two years and monthly security updates for three years.
Other features include its fingerprint sensor integrated into the side-facing power key, biometric face unlock, a Google Assistant Button, FM radio, advanced video EIS, video HDR, and OZO audio.
The film, No Time To Die, releases November 20 and will feature Lashana Lynch as 00 agent Nomi, using the Nokia 8.3 5G as one of her high-tech gadgets.
The Nokia 3.4 is also now official with a 6.39-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chip, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with MicroSD support up to 512GB, a 4,000mAh battery, with 5V2A charging, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Its triple camera set up includes a 13-megapixel main lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, with an 8-megapixel front camera. Software-wise, the Nokia 3.4 runs Android 10 and is set to upgrade to Android 11.
Other features include a rear fingerprint sensor, biometric face unlock, a Google Assistant button, aptX Adaptive, FM radio, AI camera imaging, HAC M3/T3, and Bluetooth. The device will be available for $179 in a Charol color option.
The Nokia 2.4 is also now official with a 6.5-inch HD+ teardrop display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a MediaTek Helio P22 chip, a 2GB RAM/32GB internal storage model, and a 3GB RAM/64GB internal storage model with MicroSD expansion up to 512GB, a 4500mAh battery with 5V1A charging, a Micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Its dual-camera setup includes a 13-megapixel main lens a 2-megapixel depth sensor, with a 5-megapixel front camera. Software-wise, the Nokia 2.4 runs Android 10 and is set to upgrade to Android 11.
Other features include a rear fingerprint sensor, IPX2 Ingressprotection, a Google Assistant Button, 2 mics, and FM radio. The device will be available for $139 in Dusk and Charol color options.
