OnePlus announced several new products during its Wednesday launch event, including a new Special Editon model of the OnePlus Nord.
The device will sell in Indian and European markets in a Gray Ash color option. This is the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model of the OnePlus Nord. The device will be available starting October 15 in Europe for €499 and October 17 in India for ₹29,999.
The OnePlus Nord originally launched in July, as the inaugural handset in the brand’s new mid-range 5G line. OnePlus is expected to release more Nord handsets before the end of the year, including one with U.S. availability.
In the interim, the Gray Ash OnePlus Nord is one of the brand’s experiments with different colors, materials, finishes for its devices. This model features a matte glass finish, as opposed to the glossy finish of the Blue Marble and Grey Onyx OnePlus Nord models that launched first.
Otherwise, specs for the device are the same and include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip to enable 5G, a 6.44-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 4,115mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T support, and Android 10 with the OxygenOS 10.5 overlay.
Its quad-camera rear set up includes a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro module. Its front cameras include a 32-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens.
