“Samsung Galaxy S21 leaks reveal color options and camera setups for three models”

Many new leaks have surfaced for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series in recent days, with analysts claiming that some details are all but confirmed.

While it remains early in the rumor cycle, these details indicate several color options for the devices, which may include a Galaxy S21 model, a Galaxy S21 Plus model, and a Galaxy S21 Ultra model.

The standard Galaxy S21 may sell in Gray, Pink, Violet, and White color options, while the Galaxy S21+ may be available in Black and Silver options, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra in Black, Silver, Violet options, according to industry analyst, Ross Young. The pundit is certain that production for the series will take place in Brazil, Indonesia, Korea, and Vietnam.

Meanwhile, a leak of the Galaxy S21 camera housing gives an idea about how the rear of one or more of the models in the series might look. The frame indicates a vertical triple rear camera set up. Since rumors already suggest that the Galaxy S21 Ultra may feature at least four rear lenses, it is likely this housing is for the standard Galaxy S21 or the Galaxy S21+. The image was originally shared by Twitter leakster camie_ngo; however, the source’s profile has since been deleted.

Also accompanying these leaks are CAD render leaks, potential Galaxy S21 series designs, bringing the devices to life months before their official launch. Leaks shared by MySmart Price showcase the Galaxy S21+, in particular, with a flat body front and back, a now-familiar triple camera set up, in addition to a top-facing SIM card tray, a USB-C port on the bottom, and the locations of various buttons and sensors. We also get a glimpse of a minimal “Blade Bezel” for the front of the device.

Rumors already suggest the Galaxy S21+ could feature a flat 6.8-inch QHD+ OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 or Samsung Exynos 1000 chip depending on the region, up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and at least 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, a camera set up including a 64-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 10-megapixel main lens, and a 10-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 4,600mAh battery with 25W charger.

Prior leaks, shared by famed informant, @OnLeaks showcase the design of the standard Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra models.

The Galaxy S21 may feature a 6.2-inch display and a similar camera set up to the Galaxy S21+, while the Galaxy S21 Ultra may feature a 6.9-inch display and a quad-camera set up with a 108-megapixel main lens, 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and two telephoto lenses.

Some reports indicate that the Galaxy S21 series could launch as early as January 2021, but there is also word of a February 5th announcement. Both dates are several weeks earlier than when Samsung typically showcases its early-year flagships. This usually happened during or just before the Mobile World Congress tech conference in late-February into March. However, in-person events are sure to remain scarce in the coming year.

Despite the varied details, all information about the Galaxy S21 series remains unconfirmed until Samsung officially reveals its new devices.
