“Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro all but confirmed on official brand website”

There has already been considerable buzz about the upcoming Galaxy Buds Pro (SM-R190), but now, Samsung itself has tipped off the existence of the truly wireless earbuds. Pundits recently discovered a landing page dedicated to the Galaxy Buds Pro on Samsung’s Canadian website.

While the page does not reveal any vital information about the earbuds, it is a fully developed page with other information vital to the brand, indicating that all there is to be done is to update the page with Galaxy Buds Pro information once the earbuds are official.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro leak

Several prior leaks have showcased the design of the Galaxy Buds Pro and its charging case. The earbuds are slated for silver, violet, and black color options at launch, in addition to IPX7 splash resistance. There have also been tips that they will sell for $199 in the US and €229 in Europe.

Leaked promo materials have also given a pretty detailed specs rundown for the earbuds. They are expected to feature a 2-way speaker and three microphones, supported by an 11mm woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter. Other audio features include Bluetooth 5.1 LE, Dolby Atmos, noise-canceling, ambient sound, conversation mode, and spatial audio, and touch controls.

Performance-wise the Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to have eight hours of playtime and four and a half hours of talk time. Adding power from the charging case brings playtime up to 28 hours and talk time up to 15 hours.

There is always expected to be a Galaxy Buds Widget but there are currently no details on its functionality. Other features for the earbuds include USB-C, fast charging, wireless charging, NFC, and Smarthings Find support.

The Galaxy Buds Pro is set to launch alongside the Galaxy S21 smartphone series, which means they will likely be announced around January 14, with a potential January 29 market launch date.
