“T-Mobile Toasts to 5G Coverage for 300 Million with Limited Edition Gin Brand”

T-Mobile’s latest venture is an unusual one to say the least, but nothing less can be expected from the Un-Carrier.

To celebrate its 5G mobile network coverage reaching 300 million people across the U.S., six months ahead of schedule, in addition to its Ultra Capacity 5G coverage reaching 150 million users, T-Mobile is raising a toast to itself, with a limited edition spirit, called Ultra Capacity 5Gin.

“Last year, when we said we’d cover 300 million people with 5G by the end of 2021, people thought we were crazy. Now, we’ve blown by that goal six months ahead of schedule, and we won’t stop building the nation’s largest, fastest and most reliable 5G network,” T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert said in a statement.

“Now, we’re gonna celebrate in a way only T-Mobile would — by bottling the Un-carrier spirit,” he added.

The spirit will be available starting June 24 at 12 p.m. PT at t-mobile5gin.com, selling for $30 per bottle. T-Mobile is also offering an Extended Range 5Ginger Beer as a non-alcoholic option. The six pack will sell for $10.

Customers should keep in mind the added shipping and taxes when purchasing the drinks. Availability will also vary based on state regulations and logistics.

With all the pomp and circumstance that can be expected from T-Mobile, the carrier has also included at t-mobile5gin.com, a set of cocktail and mocktail recipes, such as the Magenta Martini and the non-alcoholic 5Ginger Mule.

For the Ultra Capacity 5Gin, T-Mobile collaborated with Heritage Distilling Company, a largely women-owned business based in the Pacific Northwest. T-Mobile was able to make a Limited Edition of the company’s Elk Rider Gin. For its Extended Range 5Ginger Beer, T-Mobile partnered with craft soda maker Jones Soda Co., another Pacific Northwest brand.
