“Google Pixel Buds 2 now official in US for $179”

Google’s Pixel Buds 2 are now official with a price tag of $179. In addition to availability through the Google Store, the truly wireless headphones will sell at AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon carrier and retailers including Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. International availability is expected in the coming months.

The Pixel Buds 2 will sell in Clearly White, with Almost Black, Quite Mint, and Oh So Orange color options, with matte black or matte white options for the charging case.

Feature highlights for the earbuds improvements to the Fast Pair mechanism, special mics, and sensors for improved call quality, Google Assistant, and Find My Accessory. The Adaptive Sound feature compensates for background noise that may affect playback, while conversation mode allows for real-time translations.

Other features include USB-C charging, with support for up to five hours of battery life and an IPX4 water resistance rating. The headphones; however, don’t support noise cancellation.
