“Verizon continues COVID-19 customer support”

Update 2/27: Verizon has announced that it is waiving late fees and will retain service to all accounts through June 30 for postpaid wireless, residential, and small business customers that sign up for the exemption. Customers can sign up at their local Verizon store, on their My Verizon or My Fios apps, on Verizon.com or by phone.

Verizon is doubling down on its commitment to help customers stay connected by extending its deal offering an additional 15GB of 4G LTE data for free until the end of May.

The carrier first announced the deal for wireless and small business customers in late March offering the data overage for any device connected to the Verizon network, including smartphones and hotspots. Now customers can take advantage of the deal for the billing cycle between May 1 and May 31.

The data will be added to customers’ accounts automatically; however, data caps still apply. This means data speed will be reduced if users exceed their standard data and added data.
