“More TCL 30 Smartphones Leak, Shaping 2022 Series”

There might soon be new models added to the TCL 30 series as renders have leaked, showcasing the design and camera features of two yet-to-be-released smartphones sources claim are a part of the device family.

Twitter leakster, Evan Blass recently shared renders of devices he said are the TCL 30 and TCL 30 Plus. So far all that is really known about the smartphones is what is revealed in the renders, which include color options, a triple rear camera set up, a side-mounted finger, and a teardrop notch for the front-facing camera. There is word that the main cameras for the rear on both devices could be 50-megapixel lenses, but that is as far as details go in terms of specs.

News of the TCL 30 and TCL 30 Plus follows the launch of the TCL 30 V5G and TCL 30 EX 5G at CES 2022 in early January, where the brand officially introduced the TCL 30 series. TCL noted then that it had more 30 series devices in the pipeline, so TCL 30 and TCL 30 Plus were to be expected.

Some of the biggest differences between the already announced devices and the upcoming devices in the TCL 30 series will likely be hardware specifications, pricing, and availability, with the TCL 30 and TCL 30 Plus potentially being more expensive and more widely available to different global markets, whereas the TCL 30 V5G and TCL 30 EX 5G are exclusive to Verizon and T-Mobile and its subsidiaries.

TCL still focuses on a more mid-range audience overall, so the TCL 30 and TCL 30 Plus won’t break the bank. The TCL 30 EX 5G is expected to sell in the $300 range, while the TCL 30 V5G might be slightly more expensive due to Verizon’s mmWave 5G connectivity. In comparison, the TCL 20 Pro 5G sold for $500 when it came to T-Mobile in June 2021.

While no details about the TCL 30 and TCL 30 Plus are confirmed, this leak could be solid evidence that the devices are on the way. More details in terms of specs and live leaks might be on the way soon.
