The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones will be official in less than a week but a barrage of leaks have shown what the devices will look like ahead of time. From sales listings to promotional images hinting at accessory collaborations, the cat is pretty much already out of the bag for the Huawei P30 by way of looks and highlight specs.
Tech leakster, Evan Blass has shared a number of leaked images of the Huawei P30 in recent days. The images show off the triple lens rear camera expected for the standard P30 and the quad-camera with 5x optical zoom expected for the P30 Pro, as well as several color options. In addition to a black option, a blue-green to purple color, and an ice to purple color, Huawei is expected to introduce a new color called Sunset, which start as orange at the to of the handset and blends into a deeper red tone.
One image showcases the Huawei P30 Pro alongside the Sonos One smart speaker, which hints at a collaboration deal between Huawei and the audio company. A sales listing from Amazon Italy has surfaced, suggesting the device will be bundled with a Sonos One smart speaker and a wireless charger.
Sales listings for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro have also surfaced at a Norwegian online retailer suggesting that the devices may be paired with Huawei Watch GT as a pre-order or early release deal. The listing shares details about the device’s camera specs, which include a 40-megapixel, 16-megapixel, and 8-megapixel set up for the P30 and a 40-megapixel, 20-megapixel, 8-megapixel, plus a 3D ToF lens for the P30 Pro. The devices are both expected to have 32-megapixel front-facing cameras.
Other listed hardware details include a 6.1-inch display for the Huawei P30, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a 3,650mAh battery. Specs for the Huawei P30 Pro include a 6.47-inch display with a 6GB RAM/128GB of storage options and a 8GB RAM /256GB storage option, and a 4,200mAh. Both devices are expected to run Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 chip and feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The retailer, Power has listed the Huawei P30 for a suggested price of 6,990 Norwegian krone, while the 128GB P30 Pro is listed for 8,990 krone and the 256GB 128GB P30 Pro for 9,990 krone.
Huawei has confirmed its next flagship launch event for March 26 in Paris. The Amazon listing suggests the devices may go on sale April 5.
