“Honor 20 series launch confirmed for May 21”

The Honor 20 smartphone series will launch May 21 with devices including the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Lite expected to be announced. Honor shared on Monday, details of a launch event to be hosted in London for the upcoming devices series.

Based on the press invite, the Honor 20 devices will have a camera focus, potentially featuring a standard night mode, similar to what has been seen on the Huawei P30 Pro. The 2019 flagship smartphone of Honor’s parent company, Huawei works in a fashion that captures high quality low-light images without having to be set to a separate night mode.

Honor’s press invite shows day and night images of London’s Tower Bridge in similar high quality, which is a big hint at the feature. However, these details about the Honor 20 devices have not been confirmed.

Honor also uses a computation of fours to reveal the Honor 20 series launch date as May 21, which many believe may hold other clues to details about the soon to be released devices. There is potential for the Honor 20 smartphones to feature up to four cameras. Prior rumors suggest that some models of the Honor 20 may have a triple rear camera set up with 48-megapixel, 20-megapixel, and 8-megapixel lenses, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera.

There is also word that there could be up to four Honor 20 models. The Honor 20i will be announced in China on April 17. There may also be an Honor 20 Pro released with large memory and storage configurations.
