HTC is tackling the cryptocurrency space once again with a device intended to be decentralized and budget-friendly. The Exodus 1s was recently announced with a price tag of €219 (about $250).
To achieve this, HTC has relied on some slightly outdates specs, which include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chip, Android 8.1 Oreo, and a MicroUSB port. Other hardware includes 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage with SD expansion, a 3,000mAh battery, and a single 13-megapixel rear camera.
However, the highlight feature on this device is its onboard hardware wallet, supported by a Bitcoin node. This makes it so users don’t have to rely on a third-party wallet to keep track of their cryptocurrency. It is a rather significant upgrade from the original HTC Exodus 1, which launched earlier this year. That device sold for $699.
The HTC Exodus 1s is currently available in Europe, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
