Samsung will release a new premium mid-range device, the Galaxy A71 5G starting Friday, June 19. The device will also be available at AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and through Samsung Unlocked for $599. However, T-Mobile customers will be able to purchase the smartphone for half-off; $300 with a new line of service.
Bringing 5G connectivity to a cheaper range of devices, the Galaxy A71 5G includes highlight features as a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 4,500mAh battery, and Android 10 software.
It has a quad-camera set up in the rear, with a 64-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera.
T-Mobile is marketing the device as its cheapest 5G phone, with customers getting 50 percent off after monthly bill credits. The device will also be available on Sprint, selling for $0 down and $15 per month with Sprint Flex Lease.
T-Mobile has also shared details about other Samsung smartphones that will release during the summer.
The Galaxy A01 will release on Metro on June 22, selling for $159.99. The device features a 5.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, a 13-megapixel, and 2-megapixel dual rear camera set up with a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy A21 will release on T-Mobile and Sprint on June 26 through their respective payment plans. On T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan with a credit check, the device will be $10 down and $10 per month for 24 months. On Sprint’s 18-month Flex Lease, the device will be $0 down and $10.42 per month.
Specs for the Galaxy A21 include a 6.55-inch HD+ Infinity-O display, a quad camera rear set up with a 16-megapixel main lens, and a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. The device will also be available through Metro starting June 29, with pricing to come.
The Galaxy A11 will release later this summer featuring a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O display with a triple camera, wide, ultra-wide and depth lens set up, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. Pricing and release details are not yet available.
The Galaxy A51 5G will also release later this summer on T-Mobile, Sprint, and Metro. The 5G device runs on T-Mobile’s 600 MHz and 2.5 GHz spectrum and features an FHD+ Infinity-O AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, plus expandable storage up to 1TB, a 48-megapixel main camera, and a 4,500mAh battery. Pricing and release details are not yet available.
