The Redmi Note 10 series is set to be unveiled on March 4, but there are a considerable amount of leaks and sneak peaks currently circulating the internet before its launch. The Redmi Note 10 series will include the standard Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
Devices in the series will be among the brand’s first to feature flagship tier camera set ups, with current details indicating at least one model will have a 108-megapixel main sensor.
Check out a rundown of prospective specs and the many leaks that have surfaced before the series is official.
Redmi Note 10
Some of the most recent leaks originate from Xiaomi Leaks Ph, who shared images of the standard Redmi Note 10, all put confirming it’s display, processor, charger, and camera features. Currently, this is the device with the most fleshed out specs. It is expected to feature a 6.43-inch 60Hz AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 chip, a quad-camera set up with a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel lens, 2-megapixel lens, and a 2-megpixel lens, in addition to a dual front camera with a 16-megapixel lens and 20-megapixel lens, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and Android 11 software with a MIUI 12 overlay.
Model options are set to include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Several color options have also leaked, ranging from blue, to teal, to peach.
There have also been leaks reveling a prospective price for the mid-tier storage level of the Redmi Note 10 at ₹15,999 (~$218). Because the brand is known to offer discounts at launch, the Redmi Note 10 is expected to sell for as low as ₹14,000 when it releases to market. Redmi Note 10 models have already been spotted on sale in India, which will be the device’s primary market. Thought it is slated to release globally as well.
There are also video leaks circulating of the Redmi Note 10, revealing its settings, its camera app, and its side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Redmi Note 10 Pro
Rumors for the Redmi 10 Pro aren’t as detailed but there are a few tidbits on what is expected for the device, including an 120Hz display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (or Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G) chip, and a 5,050mAh battery, in addition to Blue, Black, and Bronze color options.
Camera details for the Redmi Note 10 Pro are not clear yet, but it will likely could feature similar 48-megapixel, much like the standard model, or potentially a 64-megapixel, to differentiate from the standard Note 10 as a higher end model.
Images of the Redmi Note 10 Pro have not so much been leaked as they have been teased by the brand itself. Xiaomi India VP Manu Kumar Jain recently shared an image of him holding a Redmi Note 10 Pro retail box, which not only closely resembles retail box for the standard Redmi Note 10, it also showcases the color option in a teaser video shared by Redmi.
This video reveals other features, including a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, an IR Blaster, and a secondary mic, which may be common features across the models. Redmi has also teased Gorilla Glass protection and IP52 dust, and water resistance rating, which may span across the models.
Leakster, Sistech Banna has also recently shared an up-close leak of the Redmi Note 10 Pro retail box, once again showing off the Bronze color option.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
The Redmi Note Pro Max is sure to be the most exciting device in the series. So much so that the brand has been able to keep most details about this model under wraps. There’s not much by way of image leaks; however, informant, Ishan Agarwal, has been able to dig up some prospective hardware specs for the Note 10 Pro Max, including 6GB and 8GB RAM options and up to 128GB of internal storage.
Additionally, Redmi has teased a 108-megapixel camera for the series, while not specifying which model will include the feature. Most are certain that the Pro Max will include this camera as a highlight spec. A Xiaomi exec recently shared macro images from a Redmi Note 10 series device, which many believe is the Pro Max, in particular.
Redmi has confirmed that all Note 10 models will be powered by Qualcomm chips. With the standard Note 10 set to run the Snapdragon 678 and the Note 10 Pro expected to run the Snapdragon 750G, the Note 10 Pro Max could potentially run a higher tier 700 series chip or maybe even an 800 series chip. Qualcomm notably announced the Snapdragon 870G chip in January, especially to run low-cost premium tier smartphones, of which the Pro Max would certainly qualify.
