Motorola announced on Thursday its latest mid-range device, the Moto G Pure, which has an ultra-wide display, two-day battery life, and dual-camera system among its highlight features.
Among other main specs on the Moto G Pure include a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a MediaTek Helio G25 chip, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 512GB, a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging, and Android 11 software.
The dual camera set up on the Moto G Pure includes a 13-megapixel main lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, in addition to a 5-megapixel front camera, and a number of software features.
The device also includes fingerprint sensor and face unlock security features, IP52 water resistance, a 3.5mm headset jack, a USB-C port, a 10W rapid charger in the box, and a Deep Indigo color option.
To aid with Google Assistant, the Moto G Pure features a bottom-ported loudspeaker and two microphones.
Connectivity-wise, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and the standard location services.
The Moto G Pure will be available for preorder for $159.99 starting October 7, with availability at Best Buy, Walmart, B&H Photo, Amazon.com, and Motorola.com starting October 14.
Verizon will also offer the Moto G Pure for free to subscribers signing up for a new line of services, between 23 and 30 months, in the form of bill credits, with the full value of the handset being $149.99.
The device will also sell through carriers, including T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, UScellular, Consumer Cellular, Boost Mobile, Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and Republic Wireless in the coming months.
The Moto G Pure will also be available to various Canadian retailers and carriers in the coming months.
