The Poco X4 Pro 5G and Poco M4 Pro are now official, having been announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on Monday.
The Xiaomi-owned brand is highlighting the flagship-like specs on the Poco X4 Pro 5G, while the Poco M4 has features that make it ideal as an entertainment device. Both the Poco X4 Pro 5G and Poco M4 Pro include for the first time, a two-month YouTube Premium free trial.
The smartphones will be available starting March 2 with the Poco X4 Pro 5G selling for €249 and the Poco M4 Pro selling for €179 at early bid special prices on at various online retailers.
Poco X4 Pro 5G
The Poco X4 Pro 5G has a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5G ready Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, 6GB and 8GB RAM options, and 128GB and 256GB internal storage options. Its 5,000mAh battery supports 67W turbo-charging, allowing for zero to 70 percent charger in 22 minutes, and a full charge in 41 minutes. The software for the device is MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
The triple rear camera setup on the Poco X4 Pro 5G includes a 108-main lens, using sensors of this resolution quality is a first for the brand. Meanwhile, the other lenses are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, in addition to a 16-megapixel front-facing lens. Some camera features include slow-motion, dual-video, time-lapse video, super macro, movie filters, and kaleidoscope.
The POCO X4 Pro 5G will be available in Laser Black, Laser Blue, and POCO Yellow color options and will sell for €299 in its 6GB/128GB variant and for €349 in its 8GB/256GB variant. The device will be available at various online retailers.
POCO M4 Pro
The Poco M4 Pro has a 6.43-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G96 chip, and 6GB and 8GB RAM options, and 128GB and 256GB internal storage options. Its 5,000mAh battery supports 33W Pro fast charging, allowing the device to fully recharge in one hour, while a 10-minute charge equates to two hours of video playback. The software for the device is MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
