OnePlus has confirmed it will host a China exclusive launch event for the OnePlus 11 5G, which will take place one month ahead of its February 7 international launch for the upcoming flagship.
The OnePlus 11 5G will be announced in China on January 4, the brand shared on the Weibo social media platform. OnePlus confirmed days prior that its international launch event would be hosted in New Delhi, India.
There are a host of feature details that the brand has already teased for the device, which include a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 12GB and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM options, 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and Android 13 with the OnePlus Color 13 overlay. The OnePlus 11 5G is set to have a triple-rear camera set up housed in a circular camera module with Hasselblad lens tuning and LED flash. While the device has been seen in black and green variants, YouTuber, Mukul Sharma claims the color options will called Obsidian Black and Arbor Green.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds are also expected to accompany the OnePlus 11 5G during the Chinese launch, similar to the brand’s plans for its international launch. The second-generation earbuds are set to feature a 10Hz~40KHz frequency response range, a 4000Hz ultra-wideband vocal noise reduction, and a 48dB deep active noise reduction.
So far, pundits note there is no word on Chinese pricing for the OnePlus 11 5G; however, data engineer Yogesh Brar speculates that the OnePlus 11 5G will sell for between 55,000 and Rs 65,000 Rupees in India. This could translate to between $664 and $785; however, prices typically do not directly translate.
