“TCL 50 XE 5G Budget-Friendly High-Performance Performance Lands at Verizon Prepaid”

The TCL 50 XE 5G smartphone is now available at Verizon as a prepaid option. Having first introduced the device as part of the TCL 50 series at CES in January, the model will sell for $99.99 with its activation fee waived.

This model of the TCL 50 series focuses on productivity, high performance, and providing 5G speeds at an affordable price point. The device brings from older models TCL’s NXTVISION technology to optimize its 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz refresh rate display.

For hardware, the TCL 50 XE 5G includes a MediaTek Octa-core 5G processor to boost 5G performance, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable internal storage, and a 5,010mAh battery. Users can monitor battery life through the TCL Smart Manager and extend power with Battery Saver mode. The battery provides up to 21.78 hours of usage time and 26 days of standby time.

Software-wise, the model runs the Android 14 operating system.

The device’s triple camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera, in addition to an 8-megapixel front lens.

Other notable features of the TCL 50 XE 5G include its side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, NFC for easy payment options, and DTS sound optimization for its dual speakers.

The smartphone is available in a Storm Blue color option.

Other devices in the TCL 50 series include the TCL 50 XL 5G and the TCL 50 LE. The TCL 50 LE is also available at Verizon Prepaid and the TCL 50 XL 5G is available at Metro by T-Mobile.
