“Motorola Razr 3 Release Date Nears with Live Leak and Specs Confirmation”

The upcoming Motorola Razr 3 have emerged, showing the device from many different angles.

The third-generation foldable is pretty solidly on schedule, with an expected launch timeframe between July and August for the Chinese market. The device is also set to release in other markets internationally later in the year.

Tech informant, Evan Blass, originally shared a clip of the foldable smartphone, codenamed Maven, showcasing its design open and folded. We can see the inner display has virtually no crease and a hole-punch main camera. The outer display panel is also flush with the rest of the front cover. Additionally, there is a dual-lens camera.

Motorola general manager, Shen Jin also recently confirmed on the Chinese social media website, Weibo that the Motorola Razr 3 would be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. The brand is one of many confirming its devices will run the newly announced chip.

While the overall form factor hasn’t changed much, there are some notable design differences. Many have noted Motorola has take a nod from Samsung’s design language book by moving its outer camera setup to the left side of the chassis.

The camera set up is expected to comprise of a 50-megapixel main lens and a 13-megapixel wide-angle and macro hybrid lens. Meanwhile. The inner display camera is expected to be a 32-megapixel lens, according to PhoneArena.

Rumors also indicate the outer display will see an increase from 2.7-inches to 3-inches, as will the inner display see an increase from 6.2-inches to 6.7-inches. The leaked model was showed in a Quartz Black color option; however, the smartphone is also rumored to be available in a a Tranquil Blue option.

Additionally, the Motorola Razr 3 might be available in 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB internal storage configurations, according to Android Authority.
