The OnePlus 7 may be announced May 14, if a recent report is to be believed. Tech enthusiast, Ishan Agarwal shared on Twitter Sunday, a poster with details on a device labeled as the OnePlus 7 Pro. Translating from the poster’s original Chinese, Agarwal revealed the prospective launch date, which is extremely plausible, considering the OnePlus 6 was announced May 16 of last year.
OnePlus 7 buzz has been ramping up in recent days, with other details including live image leaks having surfaced on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo. The device, also branded as the OnePlus 7 Pro in these leaks, showcase a host of hardware specs, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip and Adreno 640 GPU, 8GB and 12GB RAM options, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage options.
Other prospective specs include a triple camera set up with a 48-megapixel lens, a 20-megapixel lens, and a 5-megapixel lens, as well as a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera, and a 4,000mAh battery with 44W Dash charging. Prior reports suggest there will also be a base model, with the standard OnePlus 7 featuring a 6.5-inch display and the OnePlus 7 Pro a 6.67-inch display.
Several prior leaks have also revealed the OnePlus 7 design. In addition to the no-bezel display with no notches and holes, leaked press renders (shown in header image) have showcased the pop-up selfie camera.
