Motorola has announced two new devices for the sub $200 range. The Moto G Fast for $199.99 and the Moto E for $149.99. Both smartphones will be available for preorder starting June 5 and will go on sale June 12 in the U.S. and Canada.
The Moto G Fast has a design in tune with many of the current smartphone trends with a hole punch 8-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel main and 8-megapixel ultra-wide dual-lens set up in the back. It features a 6.4-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 512GB, a 4,000 mAh battery, and the Android 10 operating system.
The device is marketed as bloatware-free with features for gaming, navigation, and recognition. It also features a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, a splash-resistant design, and a and a 2-day battery life. It comes in a Pearl white color option.
The Moto G Fast will be available at Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart, Amazon.com, Motorola.com, and Boost Mobile in the U.S. and at TELUS, Bell, Rogers, Fido, Koodo and Virgin in Canada.
The Moto E has a design teardrop 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel main and 2-megapixel depth dual-lens set up in the back. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 512GB, a 3,550 mAh battery, and the Android 10 operating system.
The device is marketed as bloatware-free with features for navigation and recognition. It also features a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, a splash-resistant design, and a 2-day battery life. It comes in a Midnight Blue color option.
The Moto E will be available at Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart, Amazon.com, Motorola.com, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Consumer Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, Republic Wireless, and certified prepaid on Verizon in the U.S., and TELUS, Bell, Rogers, Virgin, Lucky Mobile, Fido, chatr, SaskTel, Videotron, Freedom Mobile in Canada.
