Samsung has several Galaxy Tab S7 models in the pipeline for release and details about the two main versions are coming out simultaneously. There currently is a leak revealing design details of the standard Galaxy Tab S7, while a Geekbench benchmark has uncovered prospective specs for the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G model.
CAD renders shared by @Onleaks and Pigtou show the relative design of the Galaxy Tab S7, indicating the tablet may not differ much from the prior Galaxy Tab S6. While there is expected to be an 11-inch Galaxy Tab S7 and a 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G, sources say the renders are of the former. Dimensions for the tablets are expected to be 253.7 x 165.3 x 6.3 mm with 7.7mm thickness at the camera bump.
Additionally, renders indicate the Samsung may forgo an Infinity-O style design for the front-facing camera on this tablet. The device is also likely to include a dual-camera setup, a USB-C port, and a SIM card or expandable memory.
So far there doesn’t appear to be any accompanying CAD leaks or dimensions details for the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G, however, other recent reports have shared power details for both tablet models. Various certification listings suggest the Galaxy Tab S7 may feature a 7,760mAh battery and the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G a 9,800mAh battery. There is also word the Galaxy Tab S7 series may run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as its processing chip, and potentially 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The recent Geekbench benchmark leak backs up these details for the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G, in particular.
The Galaxy Tab S7 series is expected to launch in July or August with 5G support expected for U.S. and European markets. While price details have not yet surfaced, some pundits suggest the tablet could start around $650 for a standard, Wi-Fi only model.
