The TCL 10 series has been available in the U.S. since April and is now receiving its first discounts at a number of different retailers. Devices in this series available in the U.S. include the TCLÂ 10 Pro and TCL 10L, which usually sell for $449 and $249 respectively.
Amazon and Best Buy are offering a 15 percent discount on both smartphones until June 28. The TCL 10 Pro is selling for $381.65 on Amazon and for $379.99 at Best Buy without a carrier activation.
Additional discounts are available for customers purchasing the device with a new carrier line or upgrade. Those opening a new account with AT&T or Verizon or upgrading an account with Sprint can get the TCL 10 Pro for $329.99. Those opening a new account with Sprint can get the device for $279.99.
The TCL 10L is selling for $211.65 on Amazon and for $209.99 without a carrier activation.
There are also additional carrier discounts available for this device. Those opening a new account with AT&T or Verizon or upgrading an account with Sprint can get the TCL 10L for $159.99. Those opening a new account with Sprint can get the device for $109.99
TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L Updates
The devices are also receiving software updates, which should hit models automatically. However, users can check for updates by accessing settings > system > system update on their handsets.
Both models will receive the Android Security May 2020 update, as well as improvements to camera performance and system stability. TCL has also set the watermarks on both devices so they no longer turned on by default. The TCL 10 Pro will also see improvements to its touch panel performance and overall user experience.
