Zagg Gear4 has announced new protective accessories for the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite gaming consoles, which include the Kita Grip 360 and Kita Grip 360 Lite cases.
The cases are now available at Zagg.com for $39.99 and come with a limited lifetime warranty, for as long as owners have their consoles.
The accessory brand noted that the Kita Grip 360 and Kita Grip 360 Lite cases are bundled with a Zagg InvisibleShield GlassFusion screen protector, which allows them to protect from drops up to 10 feet (3 meters). The screen protector includes easy apply tabs for accurate application, and have a glass-like finish and smudge resistance when applied.
The cases are also slim and flexible; made with a plant-based D3O Bio technology, as well as with 52 percent renewable resources.
“As well as protecting your Switch, the Kita Grip 360 enhances the gaming experience with contoured palm grips and a textured surface to provide comfortable support for gaming sessions,” Zagg senior vice president of Marketing Brad Bell said in a statement.
Additionally, the Kita Grip 360, in particular, has a built in antimicrobial agent that protects against oder and degradation.
The Kita Grip 360 case also is compatible with the Switch Classic docking system and allows access to the rear kickstand.
The Nintendo Switch has been an extremely popular handheld hybrid gaming option for the gaming brand. It has sold nearly 85 million units globally since its initial 2017 release, accompanied by over 20 million copies of bestselling games.
The Nintendo Switch Lite followed in 2019, offering a completely handheld gaming option that came in a smaller form factor and with several color options. The console has sold nearly 13.53 million units globally.
