Details about the OnePlus 7T have surfaced, suggesting the device may include a triple camera set up among its primary features.
Tech informants, OnLeaks and Pricebaba shared Saturday, schematics renders of the unreleased device showing its potential design and camera set up. The OnePlus 7T may host its cameras in a circular module on the back of the device, which is much different than the vertical line up on the OnePlus 7.
While specifics about the lenses have not yet surfaced the leak could reveal interesting details about the OnePlus 7T. This could be further proof that the Chinese manufacturer may release OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro models during its next product launch. A triple camera on the 7T would be an upgrade from the standard OnePlus 7, which has a dual camera. Perhaps the 7T Pro may have an even more elaborate camera set up of its own.
The leak also reveals that the OnePlus 7T will likely retain a more familiar set up with the front-facing lens embedded in a centered teardrop notch. The OnePlus 7 Pro introduced a pop-up selfie camera in order to create an edge-to-edge display. A OnePlus 7T Pro would likely also adopt the same design.
Other leaked details suggest an HD+ Optic AMOLED display between 6.4 and 6.5-inches for the OnePlus 7T, 161.2 x 74.5 x 8.3mm dimensions, and a USB-C port. While not confirmed, pundits have guessed the OnePlus 7T could feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chip, 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage with no microSD expansion support.
The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro may be announced September 26 at a launch event in India alongside the OnePlus TV. The device marker is also expected to host an international launch event on October 10 before an October 15 market launch for the smartphones. OnePlus has already hinted at the October 15 sale date for its upcoming devices.
