Samsung’s latest lineup of headphones includes adaptive noise canceling and multi-point Bluetooth connectivity among its primary features. The manufacturer continues to collaborate with AKG to bring headphones to the market with the latest audio technology.
The over-the-ear N700NC model (main image) will sell for $349.95 includes Ambient Aware noise canceling and technology to minimize echoes and maximize call quality. The model has a 2-hour charging time and 20-hours of playback time. They will be available in a silver color option.
The AKG Y500 and Y100 models are available as of September 14 through Samsung and AKG’s websites, as well as through Amazon, Sprint and US Cellular, while the N700NC will release at a later date.
AKG Y500
The over-the-ear AKG Y500 model is available for $149.95 and includes multi-point connectivity as a primary feature. This allows users to connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. The headphones also include an Ambient Aware noise canceling feature, which allows users to control how much outside noise the headphones allow through. The feature is especially useful for public places where users may want to block out some external noise but still need to be aware of, announcements, for example. The headphones also have a play and pause automation feature, which pauses music when users remove the headphones and resume playback when they are put back on.
The AKG Y500 model has a 2.5-hour charging time and 33-hours of playback time. They are available in black, blue, green, and pink color options.
AKG Y100
The AKG Y100 earbuds are available for $99.95 and include the Ambient Aware noise canceling feature. The model has a 2-hour charging time, 8-hours of playback time and are available in pink, green, blue, and black color options.
