“New Samsung Galaxy smartphone could have massive battery and all-day power”

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Flex smartphones may not be the only devices turning heads in 2019. There have been murmurs of a new Samsung device line called the Galaxy M series, which may reinstate the manufacturer’s status as a battery king in the smartphone market.

A recent report from the Dutch blog, All About Samsung suggests that a model called the Galaxy M30 may feature a 5,000 mAh battery that could translate to a full day of battery life for the smartphone in real-world use.

Samsung has just gotten back into the swing packing lots of battery power into its devices. The Galaxy Note 9 released in August 2018 with a 4,000mAh battery after releasing several flagships with capacities in the 3,500 mAh range. While Samsung promises up to 24-hours of talk time for devices like the Galaxy Note 9, its beefy specs have been known to quickly zap power during everyday usages, such as web and social media browsing, app usage, and gaming.

The Galaxy M30 may be a low-end-to-mid-range device that will likely be marketed to the European and Asian markets. The device may have some other impressive features, such as a 6.38-inch display. While it may have a 2220 x1080 pixels (FHD) resolution, the display is expected to include a teardrop notch. If true it would be one of the first Samsung devices to adopt the current design trend.

Other features rumored for the Galaxy M30 include a triple camera set up with a 13-megapixel lens and two 5-megapixel lenses, as well as a 16-megapixel front camera.

The device is expected to release alongside Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 models, which are also expected to have certain highlight features. The Galaxy M20 may also include a 5,000mAh battery if reports are to be believed.
