“Early August release date expected for Samsung Galaxy Note 10”

Many details about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 have been swirling the rumor mill as of late, and recent reports suggest that the device could be announced in early August.

The manufacturer’s late-2019 flagship could be unveiled on August 7 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, according to CNET. While details have not been confirmed by Samsung, the date and location are extremely plausible, considering the Galaxy Note 9 was first showcased on August 9, 2018, at the same venue.

There has been a considerable buzz around the Galaxy Note 10, with rumors suggesting Samsung may release standard and Pro models of the device. While the early-year Galaxy S line has gone through many transitions over the years, with Edge and Plus models added to its line up, the Galaxy Note line has remained largely static.

The possible addition to the Galaxy Note family is likely indicative of recent technology developments, such as 5G. There are many reports indicating that the Galaxy Note 10 may come in both 4G and 5G models. In addition to long-circulating rumors brought to light by industry insiders, mobile carriers have also hinted at selling other 5G-enabled devices from Samsung in 2019 after announcing the availability of the Galaxy S10 5G.

Recent leaks have given details on the Galaxy Note 10 design. We can likely expect a similar, boxy frame seen on the Galaxy Note 9, with a centered Infinity-O cut out to house the front-facing camera. Renders suggest other feature upgrades, such as a triple rear camera and Samsung finally succumbing to removing the 3.5mm audio jack from the Galaxy Note 10.

Other specs expected for the Galaxy Note 10 include a 6.3-inch display for the standard model and a 6.75-inch display for the Pro model. The Galaxy Note 10 Pro may also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip to enable 5G, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery with a 25W fast charger.
