“Google Pixelbook Go specs leak reveals most hardware and design details”

Google will unveil its 2019 product showcase Tuesday and among those is the Pixelbook Go netbook, which was recently leaked extensively by 9to5Google. The sequel to 2017 Pixebook, the Pixelbook Go is already being called a Macbook running Chrome OS.

It definitely looks like it belongs in the Pixel family with the matte “Not Pink” color option having been leaked. Many have critiqued the ridged underside of the netbook, which is supposed to help prevent sliding. There will also reportedly be a “Just Black” color option for the Pixelbook Go.

In terms of specs, the Pixelbook Go appears formidable; however, there we have yet to get price prospects to correspond with the hardware. The netbook will have several processor configurations, which include the Intel Core m3, Intel Core i5, and Intel Core i7 chips. Memory options include 8GB and 16GB, while internal storage options includes 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The Pixelbook Go will also include the Titan C chip for security.

Setup-wise, the netbook will feature a 13.3-inch touch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which will also be available in Full HD or 4K configurations. Currently, there are no dimension details available.

Other features include two front-facing speakers and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, which shoots 1080p video at 60fps. Ports include two USB-C as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity includes WiFi and Bluetooth. The Pixelbook Go also will have fingerprint sensor biometrics and support for the Pixelbook Pen.

The Pixelbook Go will join the Pixel 4 smartphones in their unveiling at the Made by Google event on October 15. The tech giant is also expected to showcase several second-generation products, including the Pixel Buds 2, a new Nest Mini smart speaker and a new Nest Wifi hub.
