“OnePlus 8T specs include 65W Warp Charge for 4,500mAh battery”

The OnePlus 8T is set to launch on October 14, but the Chinese manufacturer has already revealed several details about the coming device. In particular, the brand has confirmed a 65W Warp Charge standard for the OnePlus 8T, as well as its 45,00mAh battery.

OnePlus recently shared teaser videos about the device and information on its forum, detailing that the new 65W Warp Charge standard will provide up to 58 percent charge for the 8T in just 15 minutes. This could equate to a full day’s battery power, depending on the user. Meanwhile, the 4500mAh battery in the OnePlus 8T will be able to go from 0 to 100 percent in 39 minutes.

OnePlus has noted that the 65W Warp Charge port is backward compatible with the brand’s older Dash Charge and Warp Charge 30 protocols, and can also support up to 45W PD (USB Power Delivery) fast charge for other electronic devices. The charger’s port is also strictly USB-C, as opposed to USB-A to USB-C for older devices.

When with all the power updates, the OnePlus 8T won’t feature support wireless charging, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed in an interview with PCMag.

OnePlus has also confirmed a 120Hz refresh rate for the 8T, but other rumored specs include a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ display with an upper left hole punch for the selfie camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip enabling 5G, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options, 128GB and 256GB internal storage options, and Android 11 software with an OxygenOS 11 overlay.

Its rear quad-camera set up may include a 48-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens, in addition to a 32-megapixel lens front camera.

The device may sell in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver color options. Prospective prices for the OnePlus 8T are €599 for the base model and €693 for the higher-spec model.
