“OnePlus Buds Z and Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition details surface ahead of October 14 launch”

OnePlus is set to announce new audio products alongside the OnePlus 8T on October 14. The brand has confirmed that a new pair of truly wireless earbuds called the OnePlus Buds Z will launch, detailing that they will be rated IP55 for water and dust resistance and will also weigh about 4.35 grams each.

The new details, shared by 91mobiles indicate that the OnePlus Buds Z may feature 10mm drivers that support Dolby Atmos and Dirac Audio Tuner audio enhancing technology. The earbuds may also support five hours of battery life in a single charge. Its case will add 15 hours of additional battery life, with a fast-charging that adds three hours of playback in a 10-minute charge.

Leaked renders also reveal a USB-C charging port for the charging case, in addition to an LED indicator, and a button, which may be for pairing. The case also has an updated oblong shape. The buds themselves are designed with a long stem and include dual microphones. They will also include silicone tips to enable passive noise cancellation.

The OnePlus Buds Z announcement quickly follows the brand’s first truly wireless earbuds, which launched in July. The new earbuds may sell for less than the original OnePlus Buds, which cost $79.

There is also news about a new OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition, which may feature a 9.2 mm driver to improve bass, as well as Bluetooth v5.0 and ten hours of playtime in a ten-minute charge. These earbuds follow the original OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z, which launched in April for $49.95. The Bass Edition may also have a cheaper price tag, with its battery life expected to be truncated from 20 hours to 17 hours.

It is not clear whether the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition will be announced at the same time as the OnePlus Buds Z and the OnePlus 8T. However, the earbuds could be a launch companion for the rumored OnePlus Nord N10 5G, which may launch before the of the year with U.S. availability.
