“DOOGEE S88 Plus releases at discount with prominent hardware upgrades”

The DOOGEE S88 Plus is now official, packing a massive 10,000mAh battery among its primary features. The rugged smartphone will be available at a discount of $199.99/£150.16 between January 25 and 31 on AliExpress, after which it will sell at its original price of $349.98.

A follow-up to the DOOGEE S88 Pro that launched last summer, the Plus is adding camera prowess and hardware capacity to an interesting design to this handset that can withstand the elements. In addition to IP68 rating for water and dust resistance rating, the device is rated IP69K for high temperature and high water pressure, and is also certified MIL-STD-810G to military-grade standard. DOOGEE is marketing the device as virtually indestructible. It’s cheeky Iron Man inspired design features an LED backlight, which appears like eyes. They light up in various colors for calls, messages, music, and notifications. Overall, the device is available in Army Green, Fire Orange, and Mineral Black color options.

DOOGEE S88 Plus

Internals for the DOOGEE S88 Plus includes a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of internal storage with microSD support up to 256GB. As said, it hosts a 10,000mAh battery, which supports 10W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging, as well as 10 to 15 days of standard battery life, 47 hours of talk time, and 32 days standby time.

The DOOGEE S88 Plus AI triple camera is developed by Samsung and includes a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and another 8-megapixel macro lens, in addition to a 16-megapixel front camera.

The device also features a 6.3-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 2340 resolution, 410 PPI pixel density, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a waterdrop notch for the front camera. Other notable features include its face recognition, fingerprint recognition, NFC to security power Google Pay, and Android 10 software.

The device is powered mainly by 2/3/5/8 2G GSM bands, 1/2/4/5/8 3G WCDMA bands, and B1/3/7/8/20 4G FDD-LTE bands, in addition to 2.4G 802.11b/g/n and 5G 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.2.
