“Nubia RedMagic 6S Pro Adds Gaming Processing and Display Power for $599”

Nubia has announced its latest gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 6S Pro, which will go on sale on September 27, with availability in North America (U.S. and Canada), Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Latin America.

The RedMagic 6S Pro will be available in three models, a Cyborg (Black) color option with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, selling for $599 (€599, £519), another Cyborg color option with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, selling for $699 (€699, £609), and a Ghost (Transparent) color option with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage selling for $729 (€729, £629).

Fans can also subscribe to the RedMagic homepage today for $10 off the RedMagic 6S Pro, and return to the page on September 18 to take advantage of the brand’s early bird deal.

The RedMagic 6S Pro follows devices in the series, including the Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro, which launched in March, and the Red Magic 6R, which launched internationally in June. Nubia differentiated the RedMagic 6S Pro with a more powerful processor and a higher refresh rate.

The RedMagic 6S Pro features a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 165Hz refresh rate. Its 720Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate allows for users to have a response time lower than 8 milliseconds when handling the display. The device also supports an adaptive refresh rate, allowing it to switch between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 165Hz, depending on the graphics demand.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chip, the RedMagic 6S Pro also runs the Kryo 680 CPU and Adreno 660 GPU, as well as LPDDR5 RAM up to 16GB and UFS3.1 storage up to 256GB. It also has a 5050mAh battery with 30W fast charging and support for up to 66W fast charging depending on the model.

Its triple-rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, and a megapixel macro lens, as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Other feature highlights include three gaming microphones, a multi-dimensional vapor chamber cooling system, a console-like mobile gaming experience space with a game boost switch button, an under-display optical fingerprint sensor with support for heart rate detection, USB-C 3.0, dual nano-SIM slots, and a 3.5mm headphone jack

Connectivity includes 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and HDMI.
