“OnePlus 11 and Oppo Find N2 Rumor Suggests Identical Rear Camera Set Ups”

Two upcoming rumored smartphones, the OnePlus 11 and Oppo Find N2 could release with similar rear camera setups, according to a recent rumor.

The Chinese leakster, Digital Chat Station claims that the devices might feature a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main lens, a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultrawide lens, and a 32-megapixel IMX709 2x zoom lens. Notably, the two devices are very different in terms of design, seeing as the OnePlus 11 is set to be a slate smartphone and the Oppo Find N2 is a rumored foldable. However, OnePlus and Oppo are sister brands under the BBK Electronics umbrella, which is what makes the potential sharing of device features possible.

The rumor goes on to say that one major difference between the camera setups on the two devices is that the OnePlus 11 image system might not include optical image stabilization (OIS), while the Oppo Find N2 is expected to have the feature. Optical image stabilization is a common and near-universal feature on many higher-end phones on the market. The current OnePlus 10T does include OIS support so it’s curious as to why the OnePlus 11 would release without the feature. At this time the rumor can’t be confirmed, and it appears to have developed because the source couldn’t find evidence of OIS support for the OnePlus 11 at the time.

Other details about the OnePlus 11 suggest it might feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 16GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and 100W wired charging. The OnePlus 11 is also expected to have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Find N2 might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and a MariSilicon X NPU chip, which is set to improve the photography experience. Both devices are also expected to feature Hasselblad camera optimizations, according to GizmoChina.

The OnePlus 11 and Oppo Find N2 will likely both be announced in the December timeframe, with Chinese availability to start.
