“New Google Pixel Fold Leak Gives an Up Close Look at the 2023 Foldable”

Details about the yet to be announced Pixel Fold by Google continue to circulate as recent leaks surface courtesy of @OnLeaks.

The tech informant shared new 360-degree video and high-resolution renders of the foldable via HowToiSolve on Thursday, with proposed dimensions for the device as the latest rumored specs. The details propose the Pixel Fold might feature a 7.69-inch inner display and 5.79-inch cover display with 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm dimensions. The device might measure 8.3mm at its thickest point around the rear camera bump.

Similarly, the video and renders show a device that has a wide inner display and design similar to the Oppo Find N, which is known for its wide aspect ratio. The leaked dimensions also back up

However, visually, the renders show details such as thick bezels for the inner display and an under-display camera for the cover display, as well as the large camera bump in the rear of the foldable.

Prior leaks, shared by Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech in November show a device with a similar design to what is being shown now. However, Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young suggested then that the Pixel Fold could have a 7.57-inch inner display and a 5.78-inch cover display. These specs are not that much different from what is being suggested now, but details do often vary while devices remain unconfirmed. @Onleaks also backed up Young’s claim that Samsung display would provide the foldable inner display for the Pixel Fold.

Still, both @Onleaks and Prosser believe the Pixel Fold is slated for a May 2023 launch with a $1,799 price tag. The foldable is expected to be announced with the Tensor G2 chip, in a number of internal storage options and with 12GB RAM, with different color options including silver and black, and Android 13 as its native software. There is also a chance the Pixel Fold could release with stylus support, according to the informant.
